... and I will defend her and the Constitution on which she stands! No violence implied nor intended but am not even slightly inclined to allow this nation to be hijacked by a by a gang of happy socialist hippies from the 60's and their young, unqualified apprentice.

ObamaCare .  .  .  REPEAL AND REPLACE!  We'll GO FOR IT, Barry!

It's been a little over 24 hours since the President signed into law the government take over of one sixth of the American economy. Call it health care if you must, but trust me, it has NOTHING to do with health.  The Democrats all did a happy dance in the East Room of the White House.  Joe Biden got SO excited that he lost his usual impeccable self control and the F word fell out of his mouth right on to an open mic!

So that's it!  Game over.  Forget the product, which amounts to a bureaucratic nightmare that will send us into bankruptcy.  Ignore the process which was so full of graft, corruption and arm twisting that it makes Al Capone look like St. Francis of Assisi.  They won, we lost ... so sit down and shut up!

.  .  . Not being a compliant child .  .  . and being an even less compliant adult, that idea just doesn't appeal to me.  Apparently it isn't going over very well with my Tea Party brothers and sisters either.  Are we weary from the battle?  Yes.  Are we bruised and disappointed?  Yes.  Are we going to go home, sit down, and shut up?  HELL NO!  Unfortunately, all this talk of repeal and promises of retribution at the ballot box in November annoys, and scares our progressive adversaries.  I've seen reports of racism, hate speech, threats, and even broken windows.  I've seen little proof, though I can't disprove it either.  But not to worry, the main stream media is ON it, just like they were in the case of Kenneth Gladney .  .  .      .  .  .  OH, I forgot, they never really bothered to report on that incident!  I'm sure there was a good reason.  Maybe he was a *conservative*!

Anyway, I realize that my blog post from yesterday could be seen as violent, and I don't want to frighten any progressives.  So I'm toning it down a bit, while still trying to encourage you to soldier on (in a warm and fuzzy way)!  Here's your musical motivation for the day:

THERE, now wasn't that *nice*!?  Feeling relaxed and calm? .  .  . So what are you waiting for!? Go find your pitchfork, grab a torch and let's go chase those bastards out of D.C.!

Today is the 235th anniversary of Patrick Henry's famous speech in front of the Virginia House of Burgesses.   There is more than a little bitter irony in that today Barack Obama signed into law the biggest government power/freedom grab in my lifetime.  Our individual freedoms are in serious jeopardy.  Listen to the words of Patrick Henry which have today, with the stroke of a pen,  been given new meaning.  I find them motivating and inspirational.  I hope you do too!

Nancy Pelosi has given Stupak and his group the finger – not going to change the abortion language. They have decided to vote and not use the demon pass – Nancy obviously thinks she has the votes. They will save the demon pass to add in the public option in the next few months, and this will put all private insurance companies out of business. (Page 124 No company can sue the Gov’t on price fixing – no judicial review against Gov’t Monopoly).

Will the bill cover alcoholism, because if this crap keeps up I’m going to need that in addition to the mental health coverage! This bill passing will only encourage our malignant-narcissist-in-chief to continue to set fires at an alarming rate: it's going to be hell my dears, as I’m sure most of you know!

The first steps to amnesty are included in this: Page 50 “Health care will be provided to all non-US citizens’ illegal or otherwise section 152.” The death care language will help save a little money when they take care of that problem known as “baby boomers coming of age” – won’t have to worry about them living a long time after retirement. I can only imagine what will be allowed under preventative care – mammograms and follow-up ultrasounds will be limited depending on your age. I have one every year and invariably have to go back for an ultrasound.

The take-over of the student loan industry, more of our economy in the hands of the government, our health – and amnesty, cap & tax will follow. Obama, Pelosi, and Reid will try to get all of this done before the November elections and if he succeeds – we may be truly lost.

There is hope that the states, Virginia being one of them, will put a halt to this abandonment of our Constitution via our Supreme Court. We should watch next for clandestine meetings with the Justices by BO and Company and pray there are no changes in the court.

I wouldn't be one to draw a comparison between Nancy Pelosi and Benito Mussolini but ... If the shoe fits!  You have to admit that  we're being force fed this stinking piece of pooh "health care" bill which Nancy claims she's ONLY doing for our own good!  Funny, that's just what Benito said .  .  .

According to answer.com: "In Fascist Italy under the regime of Benito Mussolini, castor oil was one of the tools of the blackshirts.[42][43][44] Political dissidents were force-fed large quantities of castor oil by Fascist paramilitary groups. This technique was said to have been originated by Gabriele D'Annunzio. Victims of this treatment rarely died, though often had to bear the humiliation of the laxative effects resulting from excessive consumption of the oil.[45]

It is said that Mussolini's power was backed by "the bludgeon and castor oil". In lesser quantities, castor oil was also used as an instrument of intimidation, for example to discourage civilians or soldiers who would call in sick either in the factory or in the military. Since its healing properties were widely exaggerated, abuse could be easily masked under pretense of a doctor's prescription. It took decades after Mussolini's death before the myth of castor oil as a panacea for a wide range of diseases and medical conditions was totally demystified, as it was also widely administered to pregnant women, elderly or mentally-ill patients in hospitals in the false belief that it had no negative side effects."

Ok, I changed my mind about comparing Pelosi to Mussolini ...  This entire health care thing tastes like "UCK", it's bad for the nation's health let alone our own, and Pelosi and her "Demon Pass" scheme are WORSE than Mussolini!  There, I said it! ( borrowing a phrase from SarahJ )

It seems fitting that this, the day that We the People march on Washington yet again, is also the birthday of the Father of our besieged Constitution.  Madison warned us there'd be days like this!  We should be inspired by his tenacity and devotion to these United States.  Our battle has just begun.  We must not tire in this struggle.  The threat to the Constitution and our Republic is real.

If you're in need of more than the words of James Madison to inspire you, I offer you your musical "kick in the pants" for the week.  Enjoy, and be inspired! Man the phones and streets!
