In the last several days a large number of Americans have spent their time pining over the loss of Michael Jackson. Was he a phenomenal talent – yes? Would he have experienced his success in the Obama world looming before us – probably not. As many sit crying over the loss of a man who, by the way, no one tried to save from years of perversion, twisted ideology and drug induced illness; guess what's been happening, Moonwalkers?!
Obama goes to Russia and gets a lecture from Vladimir Putin on “what the cold war, was really about” – PLEASE. B. Hussein purports to limit America’s defense capabilities in an agreement with President Medvedev, believing Russia will honor this “bilateral agreement”. Where do you think Iran is getting their nuclear materials, BO? And what is our President’s justification? – Iran will know we are sweet kitties If we don’t have nukes – they won’t want them. Oh Yeah, believe that until a mushroom cloud explodes somewhere in the United States.
Two American women are in labor camps in North Korea after being kidnapped and found guilty of trumped-up, bogus charges. Iranians are being murdered in the streets. Kim Jong Il, who we know has nuclear weapons, continues to fire missiles. We have no clue if or when one of them will contain a warhead. Cap and tax every American to death is looming in the Senate, with a possibility of passing. There is talk of another “spendulous” package – even though only ten percent of the first piece of crap has been spent. Our national debt is over $11 trillion, that’s trillions of debt we owe mostly to China, people! And health care is currently being shoved down everyone’s throats, but hey, we sure did give MJ a nice send off, didn’t we?

1 comment ( 136 views ) | [ 0 trackbacks ]I am looking forward to sharing some thoughts on the events of the day, which are numerous! In fact, so much so, that sometimes my brain cannot grasp all of them! Sensory overload? More than likely! Intentional on this current Regime's part? I'm quite certain!
Thank you Marlee for inviting me to contribute. You'll hear from me soon!

"Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force! You are about to embark upon a great crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers in arms on other fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.
Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle hardened, he will fight savagely.
But this is the year 1944! Much has happened since the Nazi triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man to man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our home fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to victory!
I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full victory!
Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessings of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking."
-- Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower
The Day remembered in one of the most moving speeches in American history.
